12. Kyle Larson – 2,005 points

If Larson makes it to Homestead without being eliminated, he instantly becomes one of the prohibitive favorites for the crown, simply because of his prowess at running the outside lane. Getting there is the tough part though, and Larson – like most of the Chevrolet teams – has endured growing pains with the new Camaro ZL1 and hasn’t matched his winning ways from last year as of yet. He’ll need to if he hopes to advance and have any shot at claiming his first NASCAR national series championship in November.
