Kyle Busch enters the playoffs fresh off the regular season championship, which he claimed on the strength of six wins, 17 top fives and 21 top 10s in the first 26 races. He won out over Kevin Harvick for top seed by virtue of the second tiebreaker, and if he can keep banking points through the first couple rounds of eliminations, he should be a virtual shoe-in to make the Championship 4 at Homestead.
