LONG POND, Pa– With a new track record, and the second Keystone Light Pole Award of his young NASCAR Camping World Truck Series career, 20 year old Ben Rhodes will lead the field to the green for the Overton’s 150 at Pocono Raceway.

The Thorsport Racing driver broke the track record in the first qualifying session and backed it up at the very last moment of the final session, just barely snagging the top spot (52.931/170.033 mph).

Rhodes, the final man in the playoff picture at the moment, is hoping that his bad fortunes change and as he tries to extend his slim points lead over Ryan Truex, Satruday afternoon.

Kyle Busch qualifies in the second position. The owner/driver of Kyle Busch Motorsports initially set the fastest lap in the final session (52.942/169.997 mph). Busch was the first of the fast trucks to go full throttle in the tunnel turn to land his fast lap.

Qualifying in the third position is Christopher Bell (52.971/169.904 mph). The young KBM driver challenged his boss during his lap, falling just short for his fourth pole position as he lost the slightest bit of momentum off of turn three.

Ryan Truex, in hunt of Rhodes for that final playoff spot, will start from the fourth position. While Chase Briscoe qualifies in the fifth spot.

John Hunter-Nemechek, Johnny Sauter, Noah Gragson, Matt Crafton, Austin Hill, Kaz Grala and Grant Enfinger complete the rest of the top-12.

Green flag for the Overton’s 150 is at 1 pm/et (FOX, MRN, Sirius XM).
