BIRCH RUN, Mich. – Jason Blonde returned to the top of the speed charts during an abbreviated Must See Racing Sprint Car Series final practice Friday evening at Birch Run Speedway and Event Center.

Blonde’s No. 42 Bingham Farms/Hamilton Trucking/Dowker Engines machine toured the four-tenths-mile oval in 13.484 seconds (106.793 mph), leading a group of eight cars in the third and final session.

Two-time Pay Less Little 500 champion Jacob Wilson was second-quick in the No. 07 Jet Star/Anderson Transport sprinter at 13.496 seconds (106.698 mph), followed by former supermodified ace Kyle Edwards in third (13.735/104.842).

Anthony McCune and Charlie Schultz completed the top five.

Abe’s Auto Parts Time Trials for the Must See Racing Sprint Car Series are scheduled to roll off at 6:45 p.m.
