OVID, Mich. – Ryan Gillenwater posted the fastest lap of the day during final Must See Racing Sprint Car Series practice at Owosso Speedway on Saturday.

Gillenwater, an Ohio resident originally from Plymouth, Mich., topped the charts with a sizzling lap of 13.350 seconds (101.124 mph) in his No. 45 Akron Hardware entry around the three-eighths mile oval.

Former MSR Supermodified Series champion Kyle Edwards was second overall, posting the third-quickest lap of the day at 13.633 seconds (99.024 mph) ahead of defending series champion and current points leader Jimmy McCune (13.751/98.175).

Chris Neuenschwander and Canadian Ryan Litt rounded out the Fast Five, with Litt rebounding from a brake line issue suffered during round one of practice earlier in the day.

All 19 cars on the property made at least one lap at speed during the session.

Engine Pro Time Trials for the Must See Racing Sprint Car Series roll off at approximately 5:30 p.m.
