ANDERSON, S.C. – Luke Sorrow topped Gale Force Suspension Pole Qualifying for the Southeast Limited Late Model Series Pro Division on Saturday at Anderson Motor Speedway, garnering the number one starting spot for the Midsummer Championship 75.

Sorrow, the first car out to take time, posted a lap of 16.047 seconds (84.128 mph) in his No. 9 Vannoy Construction entry to top the field in hopes of erasing his 10-point deficit to championship leader Anthony Alfredo.

Behind Sorrow was his fellow young gun and rival Colby “The Kid” Howard, who timed in second-quick on a lap of 16.121 seconds, and Alfredo followed in third at 16.199.

Fourth-generation rookie Thad Moffitt and Blair Addis completed the top five Pro qualifiers.

Moffitt posted the fastest lap in qualifying for the Daytona 1 Lubricants Challenger Division, scoring the pole for that class with a lap of 16.714 seconds () in the No. 46 JACOB Companies entry.

The Southeast Limited Late Model Series Midsummer Championships are scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. start time, with the Challenger Division up first and followed by the Pro division.
