INDIANAPOLIS — Report by Race Chaser Online Managing Editor Jacob Seelman — USAC photo —

Officials from the United States Auto Club (USAC) announced Thursday during the PRI Trade Show that an 11-race slate of some of the most historic and fastest pavement and dirt tracks will make up the 2015 schedule for the USAC Silver Crown Series.

Highlights on the pavement side of the schedule include the season-opener at Toledo Speedway on May 2 and the return of the Silver Crown cars to the lightning-fast Iowa Speedway on June 20 in combination with the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. The Lucas Oil Raceway will be the only track on the schedule to play host to the Silver Crown field twice, holding the Hall of Fame Classic on May 23 and the J.D. Byrider/Rich Vogler Classic on July 23.

Seven dirt track stops, including five consecutive to close the 2015 calendar, are also features for the Silver Crown warriors, including the legendary Hoosier Hundred at the Indiana State Fairgrounds on May 23 and fan favorite events including the always-exciting visit to the Belleville High Banks at the end of July and a visit to Eldora Speedway during the Four Crown Nationals in September.
