MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Following his appearance on PMN Radio’s Motorsports Madness show Monday evening, Josh White has announced that he will move to the MAKE Motorsports No. 1 Chevrolet for this weekend’s Texas Roadhouse 200 presented by Alpha Energy Solutions at Martinsville Speedway.

White, a development driver for Jennifer Jo Cobb Racing, will attempt to make his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut during the 200-lap event, which will air live on FOX Sports 1 (Saturday, 1:30 p.m. ET).

Hurricane Master by Dab (Dabdoor.com) will serve as the primary sponsor on the hood of White’s machine, with LiftMaster.com onboard as the co-primary sponsor.

Icotec.com and Pominc.com will also serve as associate sponsors for the Marine veteran’s history-making start.

White, 25, is from Charleston, West Virginia and is attempting to become the first U.S. Marine Corps veteran to compete in one of NASCAR’s top three series. He reached the rank of Lance Corporal and was a combat engineer during his time in the armed services.

“This sport is so sponsor-driven nowadays that it takes a team effort, so it’s a great feeling and really special to have partners on board our program (like Hurricane Master and LiftMaster.com) to make this a dream of mine possible this weekend,” White said. “Our goal is to stay on the lead lap this weekend if possible … and we hope to do everyone proud who has partnered with us for this event.”

Located in Hialeah Gardens, Florida, Hurricane Master by Dab provides manufacturing, service, and installation of commercial and residential garage door systems.

LiftMaster is a brand of CGI from Elmhurst, Illinois that offers a full range of products that helps users monitor and control their garage door or gate.

Holland, Ohio’s Icotec.com, offers a complete superstore of wild game and predator calls, while Pominc.com is a mobile occupational medicine and health company out of Wheelersburg, Ohio that provides on-site construction and company employee first-aid and OSHA requirement needs.
