RIDGEWAY, Va. – William Byron and his No. 9 Liberty University Toyota truck led the field in the final round of practice for Saturday’s Texas Roadhouse 200 (1 p.m. ET, FS1, MRN, SiriusXM). Byron posted a lap of 19.687 seconds (96.185 mph), the fastest time of any driver between the two practices held on Friday. Fellow Chase driver Johnny Sauter was second fastest with a time of 19.757 seconds (95.883 mph).

Xfinity Chase driver Daniel Suarez, JR Motorsports’ Cole Custer, and Brad Keselowski Racing’s Tyler Reddick rounded out the top five.
Outside of Byron and Sauter, there was only one other Chase driver in the top 10: Christopher Bell. His JBL Toyota Tundra was 10th fastest, with a time of 19.606 seconds (95.127 mph). Ben Kennedy and Matt Crafton were directly behind Bell on the time sheet in 11th and 12th, respectively.
Timothy Peters was the slowest of the remaining Chase drivers with a time of 19.986 seconds (94.746 mph). The trucks will return to the track tomorrow morning for Keystone Light Pole Qualifying (10 a.m. ET, FS1, MRN, SiriusXM).
