PENSACOLA, Fla. – The stars of the Modifieds of Mayhem Tour will have to wait a little bit longer to get their 75-lap feature in during Snowball Derby week at Five Flags Speedway.

Persistent rain that moved in to the Pensacola area shortly after the conclusion of super late model qualifying on Friday forced the postponement of the modified feature to Saturday at the half-mile oval.

Track officials plan for the modified race to be the first on-track activity of the day on Saturday, with Pro Trucks being held down the road at the Pensacola Interstate Fairgrounds until after the conclusion of the modified race. Once the modifieds conclude their competition, the Pro Trucks will enter the track.

Rain is currently forecast to continue through roughly 2 p.m. CT on Saturday before a window of opportunity opens for racing in the middle of the afternoon, seeing the chance of precipitation drop below 40 percent until around midnight.

When the modified feature does go green, Doug Moff will lead the 28-car field to green from the pole after earning the top starting position during qualifying on Friday afternoon.

Augie Grill, Donnie Hamrac, Kyle Purvis and Parker Pugh will fill out the rest of the front five grid spots.
