Ten different winners in 13 classes were crowned during the opening weekend of the season for the USAC Honda Quarter Midget National Championship at the Tucson Quarter Midget Association track in Arizona.

Three drivers managed to double up on A-main victories over the course of the weekend — Carson Hocevar swept the two primary heavy classes, winning Heavy Honda and Heavy 160 main events; Chase Randall took the Senior Honda and Light World Formula checkered flags and Gage Painter grabbed Senior Animal and Light AA class victories.

An additional seven drivers won individual features on the weekend, with one performance standing above the rest. Kaiden Clark drove through the Junior Honda B-Main to transfer to the main event, then went on to win the A-Main in the most impressive performance of the weekend.

Tanner Reif (Light 160), Tyler Reif (Junior Animal), Daytona Spicola (Heavy World Formula), Chase Spicola (Light Mod), T.J. Phillips (Red Rookie) and Gage McCoy (Blue Rookie) also won main events over the course of the three-day weekend.

The USAC Honda Quarter Midget National Championship returns to action April 17-19 for round two at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas.
