Lack of sponsorship creates heartbreak in the motorsports world, but through hard work — that heartbreak is often short-lived.

Such is the case with the Boomtown Sim Racing squadron in 2015.

At the beginning of March, team owner Corbin Himstreet announced that primary sponsor BubbleBall would not be re-signing with the team going forward, leaving blank cars for the second quarter of the season. However, that lack of primary paint has been very short lived as Boomtown Sim, along with Race Chaser Media, will team up for a unique promotional partnership starting April 1.

Race Chaser Online is a comprehensive motorsports news website that covers racing across the world and across numerous different disciplines, including the ever-expanding world of online simulation racing. Race Chaser’s managing editor, Jacob Seelman, has extensive experience in both sim racing as well as real world racing — calling play-by-play action for Live Sim Racing TV (LSRTV), including Real Sim Racing (RSR) and the NASCAR iRacing.com Pro Series, and announcing for both the United Sprint Car Series and Must See Racing Xtreme Sprint Series.

Seelman is looking forward to beginning the new partnership, which includes primary placement for Race Chaser Online and partner brands Speed77 Radio and the Performance Motorsports Network on Boomtown Sim’s vehicles across the iRacing service, as well as promotional work on both sides during the second quarter.

“This is a new look and an exciting promotional opportunity for both Race Chaser Media and Boomtown Sim,” said Seelman. “All of us at Race Chaser Online look forward to providing additional coverage and media exposure for Boomtown Sim during the second quarter and look forward to working with them to expand our media presence in the sim-racing community as well.”

“It’s an exciting time to be a part of Boomtown Sim Racing at the moment, and to be teaming up with Race Chaser Online, Speed77 Radio as well as the Performance Motorsports Network, who all come on-board as a package deal, is big for us,” added Himstreet. “With our recent success, and the success of all these organizations, it was a perfect fit. We look forward to continueing our success across the board in 2015.”

The new paints will hit the track for the first time live on LSRTV for the =RSR= Asphalt Assault XFINITY Series on Wednesday, April 1 at 9:30 p.m. Eastern when driver Jared Comeau takes to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway for round two of the eight-week series.
