March 28, 2014 — report by USCS Sprint Car Series announcer and Race Chaser Online Managing Editor Jacob Seelman — FASTRAK photo — TOCCOA, GA — Due to a 100% chance of rain for Friday into the night and additional 70% chance of rain on Saturday for the northern Georgia area, the 3rd annual “Toccoa Tangle” at Toccoa Speedway has been cancelled for this weekend.

The event featuring the USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour sprint cars and www.rockauto.com USCS 600 Sprint Car Series was to be the USCS Southern Thunder region season-opener. The United Sprint Car Series Outlaw Thunder Tour and USCS 600 Sprint Car Series will now open their 2014 Southern Thunder regional schedule on Friday, April 11th at Carolina Speedway in Gastonia, NC as part of a co-sanctioned North/South challenge weekend with the URC RISLONE Sprint Series.
