Brett Moffitt

Brett Moffitt carries as much momentum as anyone into the final race of the season, having won the Truck Series’ most recent event at Arizona’s ISM Raceway, but he’s a bit of a sentimental favorite as well. His team, Hattori Racing Enterprises, operates on a fraction of the budget of Sauter’s GMS Racing squad and Kyle Busch Motorsports. The No. 16 Toyota team has had to scratch and claw for sponsorship all season.

A five-time winner this year, Moffitt and company will have to figure out the NT1 spec motor in a hurry if they want to contend, but if they can do that the Iowa native just might have a shot at securing his first NASCAR championship.
