Johnny Sauter

The unbridled championship favorite, Chevrolet driver Johnny Sauter enters the finale with six victories and 14 top-five finishes in 22 races. He’s also the only driver among the Championship 4 who knows what victory at Homestead-Miami Speedway feels like.

Sauter won the race at the 1.5-mile oval in 2011 and finished second there two years ago to secure the championship. If he can bring the same kind of speed to South Florida that he’s had all year long, he’ll be a tough target for the opposition.
