Brett Moffitt, the 2015 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Rookie of the Year, appeared to be on an island with no life raft after losing his ride with Red Horse Racing midway through last season, but found new life this year with the tight-knit Hattori Racing Enterprises group.

Moffitt won four races during the regular season, but struggled with consistency, scoring eight top-five finishes but also suffering eight finishes outside the top-10. He’ll need to improve upon that if he hopes to secure his first NASCAR championship, but could be a dark horse to win it all.
