MADISON, ILL– After finishing second in the opening stage, pole sitter Chase Briscoe leads wire to wire to win second stage in the Drivin’ for Lineman 200 at Gateway Motorsports Park.
The Brad Keselowski Racing driver claimed the top spot after the the first round of pit stops after the conclusion of stage 1.
“Hopefully we just get a clean restart.” Briscoe said. “Typically, restarts here are pretty hectic and we’re luckily starting on the outside I think should be OK through 1 and 2 so just got to take our time. We always have a fast Cooper Standard Ford F-150 and just take care of this thing.”
Matt Crafton to continue to show speed as he finishes second, with opening stage winner John Hunter-Nemechek in third. Grant Enfinger and Christopher Bell rounds out the top-5.
Johnny Sauter, Austin Cindric, Ben Rhodes, Ryan Truex and Todd Gilliland complete the rest of the top-10.
The only caution flew for the end of the stage.
