Hold the victory lane celebrations and throw a twist into the storyline.

NASCAR announced following Friday night’s North Carolina Education Lottery 200 that the No. 00 truck driven by race winner Kasey Kahne failed post race inspection.

The truck was found to be too low on both front corners and too high in the right rear.

Despite the news, team owner Dale Earnhardt Jr. was light-hearted in knowing that the win would stand, tweeting “So the left rear was good?” in response to ESPN’s Bob Pockrass after the announcement broke on social media.

Any penalties will likely be announced by NASCAR on Tuesday.

NASCAR also announced that in addition to the 00, the No. 4 truck driven by runner-up Erik Jones and the No. 88 of series points leader Matt Crafton would be taken to the series R&D Center for analysis.

Action at Charlotte Motor Speedway resumes tomorrow with NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race qualifying, beginning at 7 p.m. on FOX Sports 1.
