CHARLOTTE, N.C. and INDIANAPOLIS — Speed77 Radio/Race Chaser Online release — Brittany Hull photo — A special “Dirt Track Rising” is set to take place on tonight’s Stock Car Steel/SRI Motorsports Show, with an on-assignment preview of the outlaw micro-sprint “Sawyer Chassis Highbank Hustle” featured as part of Open Wheel Central during the action-packed hour of motorsports news, views and interview live at 7 PM Eastern time.

Regular host Jacob Seelman will join the live broadcast from Indianapolis, while co-host Tom Baker will anchor the broadcast from 77’s Charlotte, N.C. studio alongside New England correspondent Kyle Souza.

Also featured will be a live interview with POWRi and open wheel young gun Justin Peck, who rejoins the show to talk about his continued recovery from a recent accident at Lincoln Park Speedway and to help preview the SIR event this weekend. Peck was the finale night winner of the 2013 Rumble in Fort Wayne Midget Championship and a former winner at SIR in 2012. Before the accident, he was set to compete at the Hustle this weekend.

Among the news topics of the week on the show will include Ben Rhodes’ continued domination of the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East as the tour heads to Langley with Rhodes in search of his fourth straight win, Austin Theriault’s thrilling ARCA Racing Series win in his debut last weekend at Michigan, and previews of both the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West and NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour as they head to Sonoma and Waterford, respectively.
