February 14, 2014 — RaceChaser Online/Speed77 Radio audio — CHARLOTTE, NC — A quintet of NASCAR and ARCA short track stars highlighted last night’s Stock Car Steel/SRI Motorsports Show on Speed77 Radio powered by Race Chaser Online, leading into an action-packed ten days of motorsports from the Sunshine State as a part of Speedweeks 2014.

Host Tom Baker rejoined co-hosts Jacob Seelman and Kyle Souza to preview all the action of the “Fastest Fortnight in Racing” including the World Series of Asphalt Racing at New Smyrna Speedway, the NASCAR K&N Pro Series and NASCAR WHELEN Modified Tour UNOH Battle at the Beach from Daytona, and the ARCA Racing Series season-opening Lucas Oil 200.

Sophomore driver Mason Mitchell joined us to talk about his new venture into team ownership for 2014, as well as his outlook on this weekend’s season-opening Lucas Oil 200 at Daytona International Speedway for the ARCA Racing Series.

Turner Scott Motorsports teammates Cameron Hayley and Brandon Jones dropped by to talk about their efforts for the New Smyrna/Daytona swing to start the 2014 K&N Pro Series East season. Cameron also spoke candidly about his outlook and determination to defend his 2013 UNOH Battle at the Beach triumph on Tuesday night.

Kyle Benjamin spoke about his newest opportunity for 2014, making his NASCAR Modified debut at the wheel of Kevin Manion’s No. 7NY in Tuesday night’s Battle at the Beach, as well as his Super Late Model efforts for the New Smyrna World Series.

And Late Model hotshoe Spencer Davis stopped by to discuss his multi-faceted efforts for the 2014 World Series, driving a Pro Late Model, Super Late Model, and adding the #79 Hillbilly Racing Tour-type modified to his resume as well, competing in a total of 20 races over the course of the nine nights of racing!
