Jody Measamer blistered a 20-car Pro All Stars Series field in qualifying for the series’ return to the half-mile Concord Speedway on Friday afternoon, scoring his first-PASS South Super Late Model Quick Time Award at the legendary dog-leg short track.

Measamer’s lap of 15.742 seconds (114.344 mph) was enough to top all comers, with Measamer slightly surprised at how well his run ultimately worked out in the end.

Former Mason-Dixon Meltdown winner Trevor Noles slotted in second fastest overall at a clip of 15.769 seconds (114.148 mph), followed by PASS South regular Brandon Ward in third at 15.781 seconds (114.061 mph).

Super Late Model veteran Roger Lee Newton was fourth (15.789/114.003), the final car to break the 114 mph barrier, and Maine pilot Ryan Moore rounded out the top five (15.806/113.881).

Garrett Campbell, Jeff Fultz, Tate Fogleman, PASS South points leader Zane Smith and Jared Irvan rounded out the top ten qualifiers.

The top ten will redraw for their final starting positions on the frontstretch before tonight’s 125-lap main event.

Texas young gun Derek Scott Jr. qualified a disappointing 15th in his first PASS South start since qualifying fastest for the Easter Bunny 150 at Hickory Motor Speedway.

Jordan McCallum set the quick time in the PASS Pro Late Model division with a fast lap of 16.330 seconds (110.227 mph).

Racing at Concord Speedway kicks off at 7 p.m. Eastern time with the Old Glory Twin 125s, including a 50-lap feature for the Pro Late Models and twin 125-lap mains for the PASS South Super Late Models and KOMA Unwind Modified Madness Series.
