RINGGOLD, GA – Report by Managing Editor Jacob Seelman for Race Chaser Online and USCS Racing – WRCB photo — Due to consistent early morning showers and a forecast for continued rain through the night, tonight’s United Sprint Car Series filtercharged by K&N and USCS www.rockauto.com 600 Sprint Series double at Boyd’s Speedway as part of Sprint Car Wars VI has been cancelled.

No reschedule date has been announced at this time.

The United Sprint Car Series and USCS 600 Sprint Series resume tomorrow night at Dixie Speedway for the annual Dixie Sprint Car Nationals. Derek Hagar is the defending Outlaw Thunder Tour event champion, while Sean Hosey picked up the 600 Sprint Series win last year.

Jacob Seelman, 31, is the founder of 77 Sports Media and the current PR and digital content director for Race Face Brand Development. He studied Broadcast Journalism at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, S.C., and also serves as the full-time tour announcer for the Must See Racing Sprint Car Series.
