Bowman was the only other driver to lead laps on the day, pacing seven circuits from lap 96 to lap 102, but faded to eighth late in the going after getting off sequence with the leaders on pit strategy.

His day was soured earlier on, however, after he got into the right-rear of Ty Dillon’s car going down the backstretch on lap 76 and sent Dillon careening into the outside wall. For more on that incident, click here.

Bowman continued on, while the younger Dillon was relegated to 33rd in the rundown and finished 56 laps down to the leaders.

The NASCAR XFINITY Series returns to action on July 23, with the Lilly Diabetes 250 from Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the final race in the four-round Dash 4 Cash series. Busch is the defending winner of the event.
