MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Monday afternoon, Team Penske unveiled the paint schemes that will be raced by its NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers through the duration of this year’s 10-race Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup.
Joey Logano and Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender Ryan Blaney took to Facebook Live to show off the new liveries for the team in advance of this weekend’s Chase opener at Chicagoland Speedway.
Brad Keselowski will move somewhat away from his traditional, all-white No. 2 Miller Lite Ford Fusion, utilizing a hybrid, more classic look for the famed automobile.
Mixing present with the past, the 2012 Cup champion will pilot a red, white and blue paint scheme that features the white-on-navy Miller Lite logo the team used in the early and mid-2000s, paying homage to those that raced for Team Penske in NASCAR’s past — including Rusty Wallace and Kurt Busch, who both drove the “Blue Deuce” for the team in years gone by.

As for the other paint scheme, Logano’s No. 22 Pennzoil Ford Fusion will once again don the 50 Years of Penske paint scheme, featuring a collage celebrating the five decades of Team Penske’s time as an organization in motorsports.
The paint scheme was originally run during the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race and returned for the Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in July.
For both drivers, they look to add another Sprint Cup trophy to The Captain’s already decorated trophy case, to go along with the title that Keselowski won four years ago.
Keselowski has four victories this season, which ties him for the points lead in the reset Chase standings entering this weekend’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 400 at Chicagoland Speedway.
Logano, who won the June Michigan race as well as the non-points Sprint All-Star Race at Charlotte in May, hopes to make it back to the Championship 4 for the second time in three seasons and to become the second Team Penske driver to win a series title for the organization.
