There’s just nothing lately that’s been able to stop Burt Myers in a modified.

Myers, from Walnut Cove, North Carolina, was the sixth car out to qualify but stormed to the top of the time sheets for the Koma Unwind Modified Madness Series Saturday afternoon at Orange County Speedway. Myers held the top spot through 11 additional challengers with a fast lap of 13.417 seconds to claim the Piedmont Racing Expo Pole Award for tonight’s rescheduled Fall Brawl 125 for the Koma Unwind modifieds.

Myers also topped practice for the Koma Series earlier in the afternoon with a fast lap of 13.657 seconds.

Myers’ brother Jason was a shade off the pole-winning speed, but he will start on the outside of the front row with a quick time of 13.468 seconds. 2014 NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour Rookie of the Year Spencer Davis clocked in third-fastest at 13.531 seconds.

Three-time Koma Series winner this season, Tim Brown, and Jeremy Mayfield rounded out the fast five in qualifying.

Green flag for the Koma Unwind Modified Madness Series Fall Brawl 125 at Orange County Speedway tonight is scheduled for roughly 8:15 p.m. Eastern.
