CHARLOTTE, N.C.– Early Thursday evening via his twitter page, BK Racing driver Matt DiBenedetto announced he will not return to the team in 2017.

“I’ve decided to go in a different direction next year. Exciting announcements coming soon. It’s been a great ride @BKRacing_2383 Thank you!” DiBenedetto said.

For Dibenedetto, the two year veteran of the Cup series, his crowning achievement behind the wheel of the No.83 Toyota came at Bristol back in April where he drove the small team to an impressive sixth finish.

During his tenure with BK Racing he has accumulated one top 10, and three laps led.
