On a day that looked destined to belong to hometown hero Denny Hamlin, Alex Bowman pulled off a show-stopping victory in Sunday’s Toyota Owners 400 at Richmond Raceway.
After nearly being out of a race car for the better part of an entire season, Alex Bowman got his chance to get back behind the wheel this weekend, joining Chip Ganassi Racing for the Drive For the Cure 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Alex Bowman’s day ended early at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Sunday’s Bank of America 500, after he blew a left-front tire on lap 62.
Ty Dillon was not at all short on words following a lap 76 crash that took him out of contention for a solid finish in Saturday’s NASCAR XFINITY Series AutoLotto 200 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
