HOLLY, Mich. – Must See Racing Sprint Car Series officials announced the 13-race core of the tour’s 2019 schedule on Thursday, featuring two facilities that join the calendar for the first time.

New venues hosting Must See Racing next season are the four-tenths-mile Ace Speedway in Altamahaw, N.C., and the three-eighths-mile Hillside Buffalo Speedway in Holland, N.Y.

Ace will welcome Must See Racing’s 410 winged asphalt sprint cars March 28-30, headlined by two complete, full-points shows that will serve as the opening weekend of competition for the series in 2019.

The same will be true for Hillside Buffalo Speedway, which will host the inaugural Xtreme Speed Classic on July 26-27, featuring a pair of full programs that pay championship points both nights.

Built around those two shows are returns to familiar venues and familiar event weekends, as well as more comfortable spacing of dates to ease travel strain for teams going into a new season of championship competition.

Ace will host an open practice night on Thursday, March 28 before their two-day weekend on Friday and Saturday nights. The series will then use the month of April as preparation before kicking the northern portion of the calendar into gear on May 4 with the annual Must See 50 at Anderson (Ind.) Speedway.

The Anderson race moves forward from mid-August, as it has been in past years, and serves as a tune-up for the 71st annual Pay Less Little 500, which Must See Racing will again sanction and takes place this year on May 25.

The Little 500 will also be a part of the series’ MAVTV television package again next year, with specific details and broadcast information announced at a later date.

June sees the series make its first of two annual trips to Berlin Raceway in Marne, Mich., while Must See Racing’s annual Independence Day Spectacular moves to Michigan’s Birch Run Speedway on July 5 and will feature fireworks, as well as a full night of racing headlined by the Must See Racing sprint cars.

Following the new two-day weekend at Hillside Buffalo, the series heads back to Berlin on Aug. 17 before the second annual American Racer David D. Mateer Tribute takes center stage at the Jennerstown Speedway half-mile in Pennsylvania on Sept. 14.

Must See Racing will then wrap up the 2019 season on Sept. 28-29 with a huge two-day event during the National Short Track Championships at Illinois’ Rockford Speedway, featuring the Rumble for the Record qualifying spectacular on Saturday, Sept. 28 before the title-deciding feature on Sunday, Sept. 29.

Three dates – May 11, June 15 and Aug. 31 – will host events at facilities that will be announced later.

“We’re also excited to return to the first-class Jennerstown Speedway and race again in front of the fantastic Pennsylvania fans,” Hanks added. “The schedule, including several multi-race weekends, is a good fit for our race teams and for our high-speed, record-setting racing entertainment for the fans.”
