MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Exclusive interviews with World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series champion Donny Schatz, his car owner Tony Stewart and driver-turned-car owner Kevin Swindell will headline a full recap of the World Finals at Charlotte on Motorsports Madness, tonight at 7 p.m. ET on the Performance Motorsports Network.
Nearly a full hour of the program will be dedicated to the world’s largest dirt track race, with national dirt track analyst Steven Ovens joining Race Chaser Online co-hosts Jacob Seelman, Tom Baker, James Pike and Cisco Scaramuzza to dish on Schatz’s ninth World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series title, Brandon Sheppard’s maiden Outlaws late model crown and Matt Sheppard’s Herculean effort to claim the Super DIRTcar Series championship.
In addition, the crew will break down David Gravel’s breakout year and Sheldon Haudenschild’s impressive rookie season, along with what’s next as the ‘Greatest Show On Dirt’ looks ahead towards 2018 and Florida in February.
And as if that weren’t enough, discussion will be held regarding Kevin Harvick’s late-race pass of Martin Truex Jr. and his securing of a place in the championship race at Homestead-Miami Speedway next weekend, as well as Truex’s clinch on points, who’s at risk and who needs to charge ahead of eliminations for all three NASCAR national series at Phoenix Int’l Raceway!
As always, conversation from all around the racing spectrum is possible on the fastest motorsports show on the web, including the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, Red Bull Global Rallycross, super late models, tour-type modifieds, supermodifieds and more!
