MOORESVILLE, N.C. — NASCAR’s newest XFINITY Series winner, Spartanburg, South Carolina’s Jeremy Clements, joins the Race Chaser Online crew during a special two-hour Tuesday edition of Motorsports Madness, airing at the special time of 6 p.m. Eastern on the Performance Motorsports Network.
Clements pulled off one of the most stunning upsets in years on Sunday at Road America after chasing leader Matt Tifft down in the closing laps and then, after contact sent both cars around, Clements sped off into victory lane. He’ll talk with co-hosts Jacob Seelman, Tom Baker, Rence Brown and Cisco Scaramuzza about the win and what it means for him and his family-owned team.
The team will also do a deep-dive into both the upcoming NASCAR race weekend at Darlington and the Camping World Truck Series race at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, and they’ll also review Josef Newgarden’s stunning Verizon IndyCar Series win at Gateway Motorsports Park, the Team Penske tension that came out of the race and discuss whether it carries over into this weekend’s battle at Watkins Glen.
Additional topics of discussion will include Lewis Hamilton’s record-tying 68th career Formula 1 pole position over the weekend in Belgium and his win over Sebastian Vettel that tightened the championship race, as well as whether Michael Andretti’s IndyCar team will remain with Honda as a manufacturer going into 2018.
Conversation about the points battles in all of those divisions and more will also take place, as a big weekend of racing beckons all across the motorsports world.
