DARLINGTON, S.C. – Kevin Harvick continued his Saturday mastery of Darlington Raceway with a late-stage pass of Joey Logano, capturing the win in the second stage of the Sport Clips Haircuts-VFW 200.

Harvick used a flawless restart to get around Logano with 15 laps left in the stage, motoring on to his fourth NASCAR XFINITY Series stage win of the year and completing a sweep of the first two stages.

The only caution of the second stage flew on lap 71, when Dylan Lupton spun off Turn 2 to the bottom of the track.

That set up a restart with 15 to go before the stage break, during which Harvick bulldozed forward on the bottom lane and seized command of the field from Logano.

Harvick then pulled out to a comfortable 4.060 second margin over pole winner Denny Hamlin by the time the green-checkered flag waved at lap 90.

Logano faded slightly but hung on to third, just ahead of Elliott Sadler, who was the highest-running XFINITY Series regular in fourth.

Erik Jones completed the top five, followed by Brennan Poole, Ty Dillon, Austin Dillon, William Byron and Daniel Hemric among the points-scoring drivers in the first 10 positions.
