HAMPTON, Ga. — In a 55-minute session dominated by Cup interlopers, defending Rinnai 250 winner Kyle Busch topped the speed charts during NASCAR XFINITY Series final practice at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Friday.

Busch powered to a best lap of 30.881 seconds (179.528 mph) around the weathered 1.54-mile quad-oval in his No. 18 NOS Energy Drink Toyota Camry, setting himself up for the potential of his second-straight XFINITY win at Atlanta during tomorrow afternoon’s 130 lap race (4:30 p.m. ET, FS1, PRN, SiriusXM).

Three-time Atlanta winner Kevin Harvick timed in second-fastest in his first XFINITY appearance of the season for Stewart Haas Racing, clocking a time of 30.927 seconds (179.261 mph) in the No. 41 Textron Off Road Ford Mustang.

Aric Almirola (30.966/179.035) and Denny Hamlin (30.977/178.971) completed a top-four sweep by the invaders at the end of the session.

Daniel Hemric tied Hamlin’s best lap and was the highest-placed XFINITY regular after final practice in fifth.

Chip Ganassi Racing teammates Brennan Poole and Kyle Larson were sixth and seventh, respectively, followed by Brad Keselowski, Elliott Sadler and Spencer Gallagher.

Coors Light Pole Qualifying for the NASCAR XFINITY Series rolls off at 9:15 a.m. tomorrow morning, live on FOX Sports 1, the Performance Racing Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, channel 90.
