Darrell Wallace Jr. has a particular affinity for Dover International Speedway, and he proved it during Saturday’s Coors Light Pole Qualifying session for the NASCAR XFINITY Series Buckle Up 200.

Wallace sped to a fast lap of 23.378 seconds (153.991 mph) around the lightning-fast one-mile concrete oval to bank his first Coors Light Pole Award of the season and second of his career, after also winning the pole at Dover in his track debut back in September of 2012.

His Roush Fenway Racing teammate made the front row the “Bubba and Buescher Show” — as Chris Buescher sat his No. 60 Ford on the outside pole with a lap of 23.394 seconds (153.886 mph), giving RFR a sweep of the front row for the first time in 2015. Buescher led the opening round of qualifying and was in the top six in all three knockout rounds.

Behind the pair of ‘Blue Ovals’, two Joe Gibbs Racing Toyotas occupied the second row, with round two winner Matt Kenseth (23.420/153.715) and rookie Daniel Suarez (23.438/153.597) lining up third and fourth for Saturday afternoon’s 200-mile affair.

Richard Childress Racing had the highest-placing Chevrolet in fifth, with Brian Scott completing the fast five at a clip of 23.469 seconds (153.394 mph). Scott has a Camping World Truck Series win at Dover, coming back in 2009.

Erik Jones, Kasey Kahne, Austin Dillon, Ryan Blaney and Regan Smith rounded out the top ten on the grid, with RCR teammates Brendan Gaughan and Ty Dillon also advancing to the final round of qualifying.

Elliott Sadler was the first driver to miss the cut for the final round, and will start 13th.

Other notables outside the top 12 included defending series champion Chase Elliott (14th), Daytona winner Ryan Reed (17th) and HScott Motorsports with Chip Ganassi rookie Brennan Poole (18th).

The Buckle Up 200 will go green at 2:30 p.m. Eastern, live on FOX, MRN, and SiriusXM Channel 90.
