Boasting the best average finish among active Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series drivers at Homestead-Miami Speedway at 6.8, Kevin Harvick has only finished outside the top 10 in South Florida twice during his 18-year career and won the season finale to top the inaugural Championship 4 in 2014.

Despite a career-high eight wins this season, Harvick has been plagued by inspection issues through the year and had to scramble to make the championship race after his automatic berth earned by winning at Texas Motor Speedway was disallowed. If he can avoid that kind of drama on Sunday, Harvick will have a solid shot at becoming the first repeat champion of the elimination era.
