March 18, 2014 — RaceChaser Online/Speed77 Radio audio — CHARLOTTE, NC — Top o’ the evening! On last night’s all-new St. Patrick’s Day episode of Motorsports Madness, the RaceChaser/Speed77 cast of characters reconvened at the Roundtable for lively conversation that spanned the entire world of motorsports as the show made it’s long-anticipated debut on the ShoutCast Online Radio platform.

Co-hosts Jacob Seelman and Tom Baker broke down the mayhem that characterized NASCAR’s first visit to Thunder Valley for 2014, including Kyle Busch’s continued dominance of the concrete bullring, Eddie MacDonald’s surprise victory in the K&N Pro Series East, and Mother Nature’s interference on Sunday that led to Carl Edwards’ chaotic victory and NASCAR’s puzzling caution dilemma.

Open wheel analyst Joel Sebastianelli stopped by to talk the Australian Grand Prix and Nico Rosberg’s impressive victory for Mercedes as well as Red Bull’s struggles, Daniel Ricciardo’s disqualification, the Mobil 1 12 Hours of Sebring and Chip Ganassi Racing’s first triumph in Florida, Verizon’s new commitment to the IndyCar Series and more.

Seelman sat down for a special two-part feature with Swan Racing driver and NASCAR Sprint Cup Series rookie contender Parker Kligerman, as he talked about his unorthodox and rapid ascension to the top of the sport, his take on the new look of Swan Racing and his teammate Cole Whitt, and his outlook on the 2014 season and where he hopes the team can grow to going forward.

Dirt track analysts Steven Ovens and Clint Miller rejoined the cast to talk Daryn Pittman and Rico Abreu’s thrilling World of Outlaws wins from the weekend in Tulare, California, as well as to discuss the current state of affairs at Rolling Wheels (N.Y.) Raceway and preview the upcoming Outlaws show at Stockton (CA) Dirt Track this Saturday!

The crew also discussed the weekend’s AMA Supercross action from Detroit, NHRA Gatornationals, and paid tribute to Indy 500 and USAC open wheel star Gary Bettenhausen, who passed away over the weekend.

Kick back with some Mountain Dew (it’s green, and this was a St. Patrick’s Day show!) and enjoy!
