January 31, 2014 — RaceChaser Online/Speed77 Radio audio — CHARLOTTE, NC —  Last night on a special one-hour edition of the Stock Car Steel/SRI Motorsports Show, Tom Baker and special co-host Jacob Seelman sat down for a candid look at the world of pavement late models, modifieds and regional tour racing as the duo was joined by three rising young stars in the NASCAR and ARCA ranks.

John Hunter Nemechek joined us to talk about his first-career late model triumph after winning the JEGS/CRA All-Star Tour portion of SpeedFest at Watermelon Capital Speedway last weekend. Nemechek now preps for his first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start at Martinsville in March.

Venturini Motorsports driver coach/spotter Brennan Poole stopped by the Roundtable to talk about his experience on the pit box this past year, as well as his two ARCA victories from Michigan and Springfield.

And Venturini driver Justin Boston talked about his rookie season in the ARCA Racing Series, his quest for a first career ARCA triumph, and his outlook with new crew chief Kevin Reed calling the shots for 2014.

We also broke down the 2014 class for the Drive for Diversity in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series and WHELEN All-American Series, as well as discussed the latest short-track and modified news from around the country!
