As Race Chaser Online heads into the Thanksgiving holiday and prepares to draw to a close the 2015 national motorsports season, the site’s cast and crew returned to the discussion table once more in the hours following the conclusion of NASCAR’s Ford Championship Weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway to break down all that took place over the course of three action-packed days.

Regular Motorsports Madness co-hosts Jacob Seelman and Tom Baker were joined by New York dirt and NASCAR writer Steven Ovens for a special one-hour edition of “Mini Madness,” an offshoot of the usual two-hour broadcast on the Performance Motorsports Network, as they analyzed Kyle Busch’s equivalent of a walk-off Grand Slam — in which the 30-year-old Las Vegas driver won the Ford EcoBoost 400 to capture his first-ever NASCAR Sprint Cup Series championship.

The power trio also discussed XFINITY and Camping World Truck Series titlists Chris Buescher and Erik Jones, who did what they had to do in locking up their respective trophies and gave NASCAR three first-time champions in the sanctioning body’s three national series for 2015.

Motorsports Madness will return to the airwaves on Nov. 30 for a brand-new, two-hour run in which even more post-championship discussion will be had leading into the Sprint Cup Awards banquet the following Friday … but in the meantime, grab a chair and a snack, and hear what our top writers had to say about each of the three NASCAR champions and their performances, both in Miami and across the season!

Enjoy the Madness and Happy Thanksgiving, Race Chaser Nation!
