March 11, 2014 — RaceChaser Online/Speed77 Radio audio — CHARLOTTE, NC — On last night’s new episode of Motorsports Madness, the RaceChaser/Speed77 cast of characters reconvened at the Roundtable for an action-packed show that spanned the breadth of motorsports once again, from open wheel to stock cars and two wheels to four.

Co-hosts Tom Baker and Jacob Seelman broke down NASCAR’s duel in Sin City, Brad Keselowski’s weekend sweep and thrilling last gasp pass of Dale Earnhardt Jr. when Lady Luck did not shine on the No. 88’s fuel tank. The duo pondered whether Junior’s hot start to the 2014 season was a sign of greater things to come and also looked at the possibilities of Chip Ganassi’s latest hire, young Dylan Kwasniewski.

Baker broke down an exciting weekend of short-track racing from three local venues, Caraway Speedway, Harris Speedway and Dillon Motor Speedway, including Andy Seuss’ dominating victory in the NASCAR WHELEN Southern Modified Tour opener and Daniel Hemric’s second come-from-behind win in as many races in the PASS South division.

Turn 5 Racing Podcast co-hosts Steven Ovens and Clint Miller returned to the Roundtable to help the crew break down the latest from the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Cars and weekend winners Paul McMahan, Donny Schatz and Brad Sweet. The pair also brought in some new news from the northeast and the Rolling Wheels Raceway Park for 2014, while Baker and Seelman analyzed Ryan Villopoto’s dominant Daytona Supercross triumph.

And open wheel correspondent Joel Sebastianelli returned in a new round of Open Wheel Central to talk the F1 Australian Grand Prix, taking place this weekend, the changes to the 2014 Indianapolis 500 qualifying format, and Kurt Busch’s announcement to contest the 500 with Andretti Autosport!

Sit back and enjoy! Here’s the show!
