April 6, 2014 — CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Photos by Todd Warshaw/Getty Images and INDYCAR/Indy Lights — A live segment with NASCAR Nationwide Series Rookie of the Year contender Chase Elliott, as well as an interview with Indy Lights St. Petersburg winner Zach Veach from Andretti Autosport highlight an all-new edition of Motorsports Madness Monday night at 7 PM Eastern on Speed77 Radio powered by Race Chaser Online.
Elliott will join Speed77 Radio/Race Chaser Online co-hosts Jacob Seelman, Kyle Souza and Tom Baker to talk about his breakthrough NNS victory at Texas and his outlook on the upcoming season as part of the show’s weekly look through the latest news and notes from around the world of motorsports.
The trio will also lead their cast of characters through a look at the rest of the weekend’s NASCAR action, including the Sprint Cup Series from Texas, WHELEN Southern Modified Tour from South Boston, Virginia, and WHELEN Modified Tour Icebreaker from Thompson, Connecticut.
Resident open wheel expert Joel Sebastianelli will rejoin the Roundtable to discuss the action from the Formula One Bahrain Grand Prix and Mercedes’ continued on-track statements of dominance to the rest of the competition, as well as take a look at the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach coming up this weekend for the Verizon IndyCar Series.
Steven Ovens and the crew of the Turn 5 Racing Podcast will make their return to the program and get “down and dirty” as they talk the World of Outlaws from Calistoga Speedway and the northeast Hard Clay Open from the Orange County Fair Speedway, where they were onsite over the weekend to catch all the action.
The crew will even break down Ryan Villopoto’s return to prominence after he claimed the AMA Supercross main event win in Houston and take a look at the season-opening USAC Silver Crown event from Terre Haute, Indiana as part of their lightning-fast jaunt through the motorsports world!
