LONG POND, Pa. — Kaz Grala barnstormed ARCA Racing Series qualifying on Friday afternoon at Pocono Raceway, capturing the General Tire Pole Award for the Modspace 150.

Grala continued a sizzling summer run for MDM Motorsports across all facets of the team, posting a time of 52.787 seconds (170.497 mph) in the No. 41 ChargeCords.com Chevrolet to score his first-career ARCA pole in just his second series start.

A pair of Toyota drivers qualified on the second row, with Zane Smith clocking the third-fastest lap (53.039/169.686) for Venturini Motorsports and June Pocono winner Riley Herbst lining up fourth (53.559/168.039) for Joe Gibbs Racing.
