Robbie Faggart stormed to his fourth Legends Car Masters division feature win of the summer and second-straight, using a lap 11 restart to pass Tom Sherman from the outside of the front row and never looking back as the feature went green for the final 15 laps.

“Steven Ross has this car so hooked up, it’s unbelievable,” said Faggart, who tied James Hines for fifth on the all-time division wins list with his eighth career win. “We just had to pick and choose our battles. The slower car (Tom Sherman) that was leading when the caution came out; he held up the 20 (Mark Green) on the restart and we were able to run away.”

The race only had one caution, when Tim Sipes spun off turn four at the end of lap 10.

Mark Green and Carl Cormier rounded out the podium, followed by Sherman — who led four laps — and Scott Whitaker. Ingram, who led the first six circuits from the pole, was seventh.

Eddie Fatscher used a dominant performance to wrap up his second-career K1 Speed Legends Car Young Lions win, taking the lead from Gio Bromante in turns one and two on a lap eight restart and driving off into the distance.

“First of all I have to thank Steven Ross Motorsports and my mom,” said Fatscher. “It was a heck of a race, we had to just slowly work back up and hopefully get the win and we did.”

Polesitter Vincent Midas led the first two laps before ceding the top spot to Sam Mayer on the third round, but a caution for the spun car of Ryan Heim slowed the pace early on. Mayer would lead the field off the restart as Fatscher clawed his way from seventh to third by lap five.

The next time by would see Gio Bromante knock Mayer sideways to grab the top spot, as Fatscher followed him through to go to second, but a second yellow for Carson Kvapil’s spun car in turn two set up the restart that allowed Fatscher the room to make the pass for the win.

Ashton Higgins finished second, followed by Midas, Bromante and Garrett Manes.
