Those who watched Jeff Ward’s championship run in Real Sim Racing’s Asphalt Assault XFINITY Series knew that the veteran was good all season long.

But just how good was he?

Below is a look “by the numbers,” taking you inside the run that led to a first-career =RSR= title for a veteran of the sim that has had no shortage of bright moments as of late.

1: Ward’s final position in the Asphalt Assault points standings.

1.8: Ward’s average starting position over the eight-race season, best among all drivers. His worst starting spot? Fourth, at Talladega.

3: The number of wins that Ward accrued over the course of the season, at Iowa, Dover and Homestead. No other driver scored more than one.

3.4: Ward’s average finishing position over the eight-race season, best among all drivers who ran more than one race. His worst finish? 10th, during the season’s penultimate race at Michigan.

4: The number of poles that Ward scored during the Asphalt Assault season, at Fontana, Las Vegas, Iowa and Michigan. No other driver scored more than one.
