National motorsports news website Race Chaser Online announced on Tuesday that it has entered into an agreement with =RSR= Full Throttle Cup Series driver William Hale to sponsor the 15-year-old Tennessee driver in the full 33-race series schedule, held on the popular iRacing simulation platform.

Hale, who also competes in a Pro Late Model at the Highland Rim Speedway, will be embarking on his rookie season in the sim-racing series — marketed as one of the toughest fixed-setup leagues across all of iRacing and broadcast live weekly on LiveSimRacingTV (LSRTV).

“I am very excited about the 2016 Full Throttle Cup Series season,” Hale said.” The competition at Real Sim Racing has always been really tight and competitive, so I do not expect this season to be different from any other. Getting a taste of things during the Icebreaker (Winter XFINITY) Series has really gotten me amped up about what I can achieve during the year and I’m ready to get things kicked off in Daytona.”

“I’m grateful and excited to have Race Chaser Online come on board and take a chance on a rookie driver like me; it really means a lot. I hope to exceed the expectations that come with racing in the Cup Series, as well as my own expectations, as the season goes on. It’s all racing from here.”

Race Chaser Online shifts over to Hale Motorsports following a 25-race run with Boomtown Sim Racing in 2015, that saw all four RCO-branded drivers make the Chase for the Full Throttle Cup and produced six wins, as well as a podium finish in the final championship standings by West Virginia rookie Christopher Hurlow.

“Race Chaser Online is proud to partner with William and bolster his efforts as he embarks on a new journey in the Real Sim Racing Full Throttle Cup Series,” added the website’s Managing Editor, Jacob Seelman. “After a run of success that included six wins with the Boomtown Sim organization in 2015, we look forward to continuing to showcase our brand of motorsports media through both William and the iRacing platform, as well as supporting both the series and its talent roster in many ways during the 2016 season.”

“Our departure from Boomtown Sim was nothing but amicable,” Seelman added. “Their team was moving in a different direction for the 2016 season and as such, both sides agreed that it was best to pursue other opportunities for the immediate future. We thank (team owner) Corbin Himstreet and his drivers for their support throughout 2015, and wish them all the best during the new season.”

Hale will debut in the No. 62 Race Chaser Online Chevrolet SS during next week’s GMercer.com Duels at Daytona, as he looks to qualify for the season-opening Daytona 200 on Feb. 22. The opening race of the points season will air on LSRTV at 9:30 p.m. ET.
